YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, CA – Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson are officially the first climbers to reach the top of El Capitan at Yosemite National Park via Dawn Wall without gear to hoist them up.

The duo scaled the 3,000 foot vertical rock-face with just what God gave them. The only protection they had were some specially designed ropes to catch a potential fall.

“It feels incredible, we've been working on this since 2009 … and it's pretty surreal to wake up this morning and have the climb complete,” says Jorgeson.
