HOUSTON, Texas - A crash in south Houston left a car jammed under a school bus Friday morning. It happened on Tierwester inside the South Loop.

"The boom, it was almost like an explosion, It was extremely loud," said nearby resident Eric Johnson.

As for the cause of the crash, HPD is investigating, but one witness says the driver in the car ran a stop sign.

"She didn't even brake. She ran that stop sign and she smashed right into that bus and the bus slid," Wendy McDonald said.

The Houston Fire Department says 22 kids were on the bus when the wreck happened. Seven of them were evaluated for injuries.

As bad as this crash looks, fortunately no one was seriously hurt.
