MONACO -- Talk about bittersweet. The world's richest candyman died on Valentine's Day.

Michele Ferrero is the man behind everything from Nutella to Ferrero Rocher Pralines to Kinder Eggs and Tic Tacs. Basically he was a genius. Ferrero died in his Monaco home. The billionaire was 89 years old. He had reportedly been sick for the last few months.

Now, it's not clear who's going to take over the family-run company. The Ferrero's net worth is more than $23 billion.
