PHOENIX, AZ - A man in Phoenix may have just hit the thrift store jackpot at a Goodwill. Zach Norris found a rare 1959 Jaeger Lecoultre Swiss watch for just $5.99. The designer diving watch is so rare, there were only 900 made.

Norris listed the piece for sale on a watch collector's website, and someone bought it for $35,000. The buyer even threw in a $4,000 Omega Speedmaster watch to sweeten the deal.

Norris says if you want to start trawling thrift stores yourself you should take your phone and Google items that look valuable.
