SPRING, Tx.- For hundreds of seniors in the Spring Independent School District, graduation may have to be put on hold. Of the 1700 seniors in Spring ISD, discrepancies were found in hundreds of transcripts, leaving some ineligible to graduate and scrambling to make it happen. The scheduling issues not only occurred this year, but also for the past several years.

A special meeting was held Monday night to explain what's next. Students may need to take one to two classes, while others are missing grades for classes they've taken. As for students that have already graduated, who may have been affected too, that's being looked at as well. Sounds like even some ninth, tenth and 11th grade students may have been affected.

Administrators say their goal is to have all Spring ISD seniors put on their caps and gowns on May 30.  The payoff for years of hard work in the classroom comes down to one single ceremony, and hopefully everyone will get to walk across that stage on graduation day!
