HOUSTON, TX - Houston's Brazilian Arts Foundation wrapped up a weekend of skateboarding and Brazilian Culture Sunday at the Lee and Joe Jamail Skatepark.

The foundation invited four professional Brazilian skateboarders to Houston for the weekend to take part in the event by putting on demos at the city's skateparks and promoting their native culture. Sunday's events featured Brazilian food, music, and skating with the members of the Crail Trucks skate team: Akira Shiroma, Daniel Marques, Lincoln Ueda and Otávio Neto.

Both the skaters and the event organizer, Mauricio Campos, founder and president of the Brazilian Arts Foundation, hope to make the event a reoccurring one in the Houston community.
