CAIRO, EGYPT - Moms are known for going above and beyond for their children and one Egyptian mom is living proof. Sisa Abu Daooh, 65, dressed like a man for more than 40 years all so she could provide for her family.

Abu Daooh was pregnant with her daughter when her husband died, so that left her as the sole provider. Since there weren't a lot of jobs available to women who couldn't read or write, it was easier to dress like a man to find work.

So this brave mom did things like brick making and shoe shining to provide for her family. Fortunately, her hard work didn't go unnoticed.

She was awarded "Woman Breadwinner" by officials in her hometown and even got recognized from the Egyptian president.
