HARRIS COUNTY, TX - A Harris County man is in the hospital after deputies shot him in the leg Sunday evening.

Around 5:30 p.m., deputies responded to a call about a 56-year-old man who was drunk and threatening his family with a shotgun at a home in the 19000 block of Rolling Sage Dr. When deputies told the man to drop the gun, they say he fired at them twice. They fired back, hitting him in the leg.

The suspect is in the hospital in good condition and will be charged with aggravated assault of a police officer.
