KEMAH, TX – Investigators say they’re going to start looking at surveillance video from boats in the Kemah Marina to try to find out what happened to a 5-year-old girl who disappeared Wednesday night.

Fiona Grace Carroll, whose nickname is Kitty, turned 5 yesterday. She was with her dad on Dock H while he did some maintenance on their boat around 6 p.m.

“After a minute of looking away, her father discovered Kitty was missing and could not be found,” said Sgt. James Heard.

Fiona had been playing with a bucket, which searchers found in the water. They spent seven hours scouring the area around the marina as well as diving in the water, but there’s still no sign of the girl.

Fiona has shoulder-length blonde hair and was wearing a red and white shirt when she vanished. If you have any information about her disappearance, call the Galveston Co. Sheriff’s Office.
