BAYTOWN, TX - There's no mistaking the noise of drag racing, and the sounds were booming at Royal Purple Raceway on Sunday for the O'Reilly Auto Parts NHRA SpringNationals.

"You feel it reverberate through your entire body," racing fan Shelly Deweese said. "I jump every time the cars take off.  It's so loud. It's amazing."

In the final of the Pro Stock category, Erica Enders-Stevens repeated as the Baytown event's champion. Ron Capps won the Funny Car final, while Doug Kallita scored his first win of the season in the Top Fuel category.

This weekend's event was the sixth of 24 events in the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series.
