HOUSTON -- It was the best Mother's Day gift, one of the formerly conjoined twin girls got to go home from Texas Children's Hospital.

Knatalye Hope Mata was discharged on Friday.

Her sister, Adeline Faith is still in the hospital, but fingers crossed doctors say she could go home in a few months.

The girls were born last April joined at the chest.

They were successfully separated in an extremely long surgery when they were 10 months old.
