PEARLAND, TX -- There's a new development in the case of those Pearland twin toddlers who drowned in a bathtub. Their mother has now been charged with manslaughter in connection with their deaths.

Barbara Ramirez-Sifuentes, 21, was arrested on Mother's Day early three months after her 15-month-old daughters were found unresponsive in a bathtub at their home in Pearland.

One girl died that day, the other shortly after.

In March, the twin's deaths were ruled a homicide and Thursday a warrant was out for their mother's arrest.

It wasn't easy to track her down, but she was arrested on Sunday.

Ramirez-Sifuentes now sits in the Brazoria County jail on a $100,000 bond.
