HOUSTON, TX - Let's be clear, the last thing we want is to promote sexual competition between parents and their children.  But it looks like millennials might be having less sex than baby boomers.

Did we hurt your feelings, Millennials?  Don't worry, it's all about the generational big picture and not just your very attractive selfie.  A study of more than 33,000 Americans published in the Archives of Sexual Behavior suggests that while baby boomers had an average of 10 or 11 sexual partners throughout their lives, millennials are likely to have about eight lovers along the way.

The declining numbers are in contradiction to the fact that current views about premarital sex are more relaxed.  Perhaps awareness of STD's such as HIV/AIDS could have something to do with it.  Or perhaps sex is not the only thing that matters to this generation.

One more thing, even if you try to up your game and go wild, it won't really change the statistics.  So, don't feel pressured.  Besides, they say quality is more important than quantity.  And that's what really counts.
