HOUSTON, TX - We're closing out May with a weekend full of activities for sports lovers, beach goers and the young at heart.

White Sox vs. Astros
The Houston Astros lead the majors with 30 wins and they'll be looking to hold on to that position as they host the Chicago White Sox this weekend. Cheer them on during three games at Minute Maid Park. First pitch for Friday's game is 7:10 p.m.

Extremely Young Film Festival
Friday night is your chance to check out the work of some of the world's youngest filmmakers. The Extremely Young Film Festival showcases submissions from kids in two age groups: 7 to 12 and 13 to 17. Screenings start at 6 p.m. at the Museum of Fine Arts

Farmer's Market Bike Ride
Saturday morning, hop on a bike and take a ride through the heart of Houston while hitting up local farmer's markets. This social ride hosted by Bayou City Outdoors welcomes all levels of riders. The 12- to 15-mile route will take about three hours, so bring plenty of water and a backpack to carry any purchases.

Galveston Sandcastle Competition
Saturday also marks the start of the annual Sandcastle Competition in Galveston. Prep works starts at 8:30 a.m., building kicks off at 10 a.m. and the public votes in the afternoon. The event is hosted by the American Institute of Architects. You can check out the sandy works of art at Galveston East Beach.

iFly Grand Openings
Maybe flying is more your thing? If so, you'll want to head to one of the grand openings for two local iFly locations. The free fun kicks off at 10 a.m. Saturday at locations in The Woodlands and Memorial City. The day features flight demo sessions with iFly instructors, STEM education, kids' activities and raffles.

Triple Crown Polo Match
On Sunday, the Health Museum hosts its 7th annual Triple Crown Polo Match. The event raises money for the museum's educational programming. The sold-out event features polo sporting, derby-themed cocktails, style contests and more.
