SANT'AGATA BOLOGNESE, BOLOGNA, ITALY -- The experts in luxury cars, Lamborghini are changing things up. They’ll start production on an SUV in 2018. The car which will be built in Italy will come stacked with 24-inch wheels and have a 600-horsepower engine. That’s more than twice the engine power of the average mini van.

This isn’t the first time Lambo has dabbled in the world of sport utility. Back in the late 80s early 90s $70,000 would get you the Hummer look-a-like. The company only made 300 of them and not many were sold in the U.S.

Lamborghini is hoping for a better roll out this time around as they say they plan to sell about 3,000 a year. No word yet on how much the luxury SUV will cost.
