CLEWISTON, FL – A dog was put down Saturday after a case of animal abuse. People called it the worst case of animal abuse they’ve seen in the area.
A pit bull mix was apparently dragged from a vehicle for nearly a quarter of a mile. Paws were mutilated to the point where bone was showing and vets were
unable to save the dog from its massive injuries, so had to put the animal down.
Officials in Hendry County are still seeking answers and have increased a reward on Monday in the case to $7,000.
