HOUSTON, TX – An investigation is underway to figure out how a man died in Houston Police custody this weekend.

HPD says officers tried to take the man into custody Saturday night at a Phillips 66 gas station near Broadway St. and the South Loop. They ended up calling an ambulance for the man, who died at the hospital.

Investigators are reviewing the store’s surveillance video to find out what happened.
