PORTLAND, OR - A teen in Oregon is being called a hero after he rescued an elderly woman from a burning car.

Phillipe Bittar, 19, and his brother were driving in Portland when they spotted a car engulfed in flames at a Chevron gas station, so they decided to pull over.

Turns out, the woman's car hit a gas pump which sparked the fire. While the woman banged on the passenger window for help, bystanders just stood around snapping photos and video of the whole thing.

That's when Phillipe took matters into his own hands. He broke the passenger window with his bare hand and pulled the woman out. She's expected to be OK.
