HOUSTON, TX – He’s famous for his moves on the football field, such as leaping over offensive lines, but JJ Watt is making news now for his moves in the pool and on the ice.

Watt, as the new spokesman for Reliant Energy, has a couple new commercials that start airing Thursday. One shows him as a synchronized swimmer and he’s a curler in the other. Watt joins the likes of Academy Award-winning actor and Texas native Matthew McConaughey as an NRG spokesman.

Meanwhile, tickets for the Texans’ training camp sold out in six minutes, a new record. Fans are obviously excited about the season to come because those tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday and were gone by 10:06 a.m. That beats last year’s 10-minute sellout.

Even if you didn’t get your hands on some of those tickets, you can still get an inside look at the Texans’ training camp by tuning into this season of HBO’s Hard Knocks. Marc Vandermeer, the voice of the Texans, tweeted a picture showing the crew all set up in a room at NRG Stadium. The Texans say Hard Knocks has thousands of feet of camera and audio cables running through the stadium, including robotic cameras in the officers of the head coach and GM. The show premieres on Aug. 11.
