PORTLAND, ME - A Maine brewery is experimenting with a new flavor: lobster. Oxbow Brewing just added the flavor of its state's most popular export to Dell'aragosta, its new saison.
The brewer says he suspended the lobsters in a kettle full of boiling wort during the brewing process to add a subtle brininess and sweetness. As for the lobsters, once they were cooked in the beer, they were eaten.
