Both explosions happened during Sunday morning services.
No one was hurt in either of the explosions, although parishioners had to be evacuated to safety.
Now, police are investigating them as possible bombings, looking to see if the two were connected.
New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez sent a message to the perpetrator(s), "If your intention was to bring fear to those who worship, you have failed. Our faith is too strong, and our fellowship is unbreakable."
