CALABRIA, ITALY - The Italian police seized quite a stack of cash from rapper, Snoop Dogg, at an airport in Calabria, in Southern Italy.

During an airport check, officials found Snoop had more than $422,000 in cash on him. The maximum amount of cash you can carry through Italy is a little over eleven thousand dollars. Officials say it's to prevent money laundering.

Snoop Dogg said the money was to pay his band for concerts in Italy and elsewhere. The finance police plan to investigate how Snoop Dogg was paid, but it is not clear if he will be able to get his money back.

At least we know Snoop has enough cash to be running around with nearly half-a-million bucks.... 50 Cent?
