HOUSTON - The lives of black transgender women matter, too. That's the message of the Black Lives Matter organization, the LGBTQ group Get-Equal and a host of others as they team up to rally against violence that affects transgender women.

They're calling the day of action 'Black Trans Liberation Tuesday' and cities across the country are joining them. The rally comes after three black transgender women were reported murdered in a 24-hour period earlier this month.
