WALLER COUNTY - After threatening a deputy's life and a swat standoff, a Waller County man is in custody. It happened at the Exxon off Highway 290 and FM 2920.

A man called police saying he was watching a deputy walk into a nearby Jack in the Box restaurant and told police that he planned to shoot him once he came back outside.

The deputy was immediately notified by dispatchers.

Multiple deputies then arrived and surrounded the suspect in his truck.
