MEXICO - The Mexican blog El Blog del Narco is known as Mexico's "go-to" website about the country's drug war. El Blog del Narco published more than 30 photos of supposed hit men for the dangerous Gulf Cartel. In the images, the young cartel members are showing off the tools of their trade in order to intimidate rivals.

In the movie "Narco Cultural," which follows cartel members all over Mexico, one member is heard saying 'In this world, everybody wants respect and in Mexico, there is no other way to win respect then to pick up an A-K and do what you gotta do."

The photos were published on the blog with the blessing of the cartel members and a message: "We aren't afraid to show our faces, we want you to see nothing but the Gulf Cartel."

That message may be specifically for recently escaped Sinaloa Cartel leader Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán that they're not afraid to show their faces.

The blog says that the members in the latest batch of photos are no older than 25 years old.
