HARRIS COUNTY, TX - Harris County sheriff's deputies are investigating a drug and prostitution ring that, they say, was run out of Desyre's Gentlemen's Club in northwest Harris County.

Around 3:15 a.m. on Sunday, deputies raided the club, arresting nearly 30 people on charges ranging from illegal gambling to prostitution.

"Numerous amounts of drug and money were seized," said Sgt. Cedrick Collier. "Cocaine, marijuana to ecstasy and different types of pills."

Earlier in the night, Houston Police responded to Chic's Cabaret in east Houston.

"[There was a] disturbance inside between several males escalated into a physical fight outside," said Sgt. Joel Burton.

Officers say two of those men pulled out guns, killing one man and sending another to the hospital.

Houston Police are still looking for the gunmen, while the crew from Desyre's cools its heels - and other parts - behind bars.
