SUGAR LAND, TX - Are you looking to titillate your taste buds? If so, check out Songkran Thai Kitchen in Uptown Park or Sugar Land Town Center.

The Sugar Land restaurant opened in June, and has been a hit with singles, families and everyone in between. The upscale eatery`s name, décor and dishes pay homage to Thailand, where Chef Junnajett Hurapan grew up.

Chef Jett (as he goes by) combines his talents with the freshest ingredients to produce these delectable dishes.

Jett says, "A lot of people think Thai food is all about spicy flavor, but to me it`s more than just pad Thai and green curry."

His two signature dishes are Bangkok Fish and Neua Siam. Bangkok Fish is made of Swan Fish, the only fish that comes from Bangkok, topped with a chili, basil and lime sauce.

Neua Siam is heaven for meat lovers.

Jett says,  "Ragu short ribs, braised for five hours, super tender - with our 'Angry Sauce.' Now you`re probably wondering what is angry sauce? Angry sauce is basically classic Thai dipping sauce, very spicy."

If you like heat, then this is for you - a Level 5 flamethrower.

Whether you`re dining, with friends and family or using the party room, the fresh, authentic dishes at Songkran Thai Kitchen will create "Thais that bind."
