NEW YORK, NY - Professional baseball has the majors and the minors. High school football has a varsity team and junior varsity.  And the GOP?  Well, you`ve got your prime time players, and the not-ready-for-prime-time players.  (Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference.)

FOX Business is sponsoring the fourth debate. Meaning, play by their rules or get bumped. FOX told the crowded field of candidates they needed to average 2.5% in the last four national polls to qualify.

It`s a numbers game and Chris Christie and Mike Huckabee didn`t get `em.

So New Jersey's governor and Arkansas`s former gov will not be on the main stage next week in Wisconsin. Instead, they made the under card debate held two hours earlier.

Christie`s response to the news? Typical. He tweeted: "It doesn't matter the stage, give me a podium and I'll be there to talk about real issues...."

Meanwhile, the remaining players will be lined up according to their latest poll standings.  The Donald will take center stage....again....and be flanked by runner-up, Dr. Ben Carson and Senator Marco Rubio, currently in third.

Based on past debates.....let`s hope a few referees will be on hand!
