HOUSTON, TX - You gotta love the holidays in Houston. ‘Tis the season for volunteering and giving back to the city that has given so much through the year, so head to the closest shelter or soup kitchen and do what you can.

Volunteer Houston usually suggests signing up to help by the end of October, since opportunities just fly off the shelves. Problem is, once the “giving season” is over, so is the surge of folks willing to give their time and efforts to help.

We’re serving up the world of volunteering through the holidays, in this weeks Inside Story, from the pages of Houstonia.
