SPRING, TX - A teddy bear is every kid's best friend, but one Spring family's stuffed animal is much more than that.

"He is a memorial bear for not just me, but my children as well," said Chelsea Cadenas.

Bobee represents Robert, Chelsea's son who died of SIDS when he was just four months old.

"I changed as a person when he passed away," she said. "A part of me died."

Cadenas had Robert's ashes placed not in a traditional urn, but in a pouch inside Bobee.

"Even though, I only got a little bit of time with him, he'll always be with us," she explained.

Since 2011, Bobee has traveled everywhere with the family.

"We took him on vacations. Small things. Walmart. Grocery store," said Cadenas.

Earlier this fall, the bear went missing. Now Chelsea says she feels like she lost Robert all over again.

"It's killing us," she said, wiping away tears. "It's just been horrible. My four-year-old asks where he is all the time."

Cadenas just hopes whoever has Bobee will bring him home.

"He was so important to me," she said. "If you have him and your child just can't let go, please understand how severe this situation is."

She says all she wants for Christmas is her family back together again.
