HOUSTON - Can you feel it? The chill in the air? Right here in the Bayou City. Time to stay inside, snuggle up on the couch, and waste the cold weather months away. Right? But why? There's plenty of other cool stuff to do when, “Baby it’s cold outside.”

Since it may be awhile until Houstonians see another white Christmas Day like the one in 2004. You can fake it until you make it on the ice rink in Discovery Green. Take a scenic ride through the city and gaze upon the fabulous light show on your way to The Chocolate Bar. Where you can sip on some scrumptious hot cocoa and mingle.

Lace up your running shoes in January and head on down to the 44th annual Chevron Houston Marathon. And check out the dueling Martin Luther King Day Parades. That`s two for the price of one. We shiver through these and other ideas, in today's Inside Story from the pages of Houstonia.
