Chances are if you've come across a "40% off" coupon on your Facebook timeline, it may be one big scam.

Grocery stores like HEB, Kroger, and Aldi UK have tweeted about the fake coupons alerting shoppers that the offers are fraudulent and are not actually redeemable.
