HOUSTON – Police are looking for two people suspected in a home invasion in north Harris County.

It happened at a home off Forsythe Lane and Burnwood.

Police say the 80-year-old man who lives in the home was asleep when the two suspects kicked in his back door and made their way inside.

The suspects manage to get their hands on the man’s flat-screen TV and some Christmas gifts, but they didn't get very far.

A neighbor who saw the suspects confronted them and that’s when they dropped the stolen goods, got into a car and tried to run the neighbor over.

The neighbor pulled out his gun and shot at the suspects as they got away.

No word on any injuries.
