Talk about a cat-tastrophe !

In Eastern Iowa, around 45 cats were rescued from a hoarder's abandoned home.

When two shelter owners, Denis Yantis and Amy Aaas-Gray, entered the home, they found nearly 45 cats...dead, alive, and in all sorts of horrid conditions.

And that was just the beginning. Once rescuers took the cats into care, medical issues were discovered, including: worms, respiratory issues, and skin disease.

Shelter owners can only hope the cats get back up on their paws soon.

One things for sure, this house is definitely not the cat's meow.
