NORRISTOWN, PA - Tuesday’s pre-trial hearing wasn’t about whether Bill Cosby actually drugged and assaulted Andrea Constand as the state is alleging , but rather if the case should even be heard.

Cosby’s camp asked that the judge dismiss the case. They argue the info that led the district attorney to file charges against Cosby was obtained only because the 78-year-old answered questions during a lawsuit deposition back in 2004. Cosby’s lawyers claim he only answered the questions on the promise made to him by the prosecutor at the time that  his answers wouldn’t be used against him later.

Even if the judge sides with Cosby this time, he's still  got plenty of other legal troubles to keep his team occupied. More than 50 women have accused the comedian/actor of sexual assault and several of them are suing him in civil court.
