Homeowner kills intruder in Southwest Houston

SW HOUSTON — A homeowner shoots and kills a burglar in Southwest Houston.

Police tell us a man was asleep in his house early this morning off of maple-crest when all of a sudden he heard someone breaking in.

The homeowner then grabbed his gun and shot the burglar multiple times, killing him in the process.

Homicide is talking to the homeowner.

So far no charges have been filed.
