Everything is bigger in Texas but a new project in Houston's east downtown hopes to change that when it comes to your living space.

The Ivy Lofts are Houston's first micro-condominium project. A unit here is less than 500 square feet and geared towards millennials.

"We're hearing that they're looking to live more and have less responsibility to intangible objects," said Jason Franklin, sales manager of The Ivy Lofts.

The "tiny house" movement is growing popular around Houston and the Ivy Loft developers are taking advantage of this big opportunity. Their Bayou City development is inspired by Big Apple concepts.

Prices start from $119,000 for a 300-square-foot loft while the larger 700-square foot and above units will start at $375,000.
