Teacher accused of hanging dead mice in class to stop classroom eating

FARMVILLE, VA - High school students in the Richmond, Virginia area say their biology teacher hung dead mice around the classroom, all to put an end to snacking in class.

One student, who wanted to remain anonymous sad, "She got kind of fed up with it, so she's kinda showing students what happens."

Apparently, the school has a rodent problem.

"When food gets dropped, the mice, they come in," the student added.

Dead mice in your learning space is enough to curb just about anyone's appetite.  Parents are sure fed up.

Parent Lakeishia Hardy said, "I feel that this is something that the school board needs to look into more in depth, and see why the teacher went about doing it the way that she did."

Prince Edward County School superintendent says "appropriate action will be taken based on the facts."
