HOUSTON, TX — Two scenes play out at an apartment complex in the Energy Corridor.

All starting with a hit and run.

Police say around 9 pm a 61-year-old man was walking through the front parking lot of the 770 apartments off of Eldridge Parkway.

That’s when a black car came speeding around the turn ran the man over and took off.

Meanwhile, a fire truck was turning into the complex to help that victim when a woman in a Jeep slammed into the side.

The hit and run victim and fireman were taken to the hospital and are going to be okay.

Now police are not only looking for the driver who started all of this and took off they’re also looking into whether or not the driver of the Jeep was drunk at the time.
