HOUSTON, TX — A police chase ends with the suspect jumping into White Oak Bayou and then being treated for hypothermia.

It all started just before midnight when police tried to pull the suspect over for a traffic violation. They quickly learned that he had multiple warrants out for his arrest. He took off and lead police on a chase until he lost control and crashed at I-10 and Taylor.

Of course, that didn’t stop him.

He ditched his female passenger he took off running. For two hours he stayed in the water refusing to come out. A dive team ended up getting him out were he was arrested.

Officers also found a semi-automatic pistol in his car so he now faces a slew of charges.
