HOUSTON - Former Houston Astros pitcher Roger Clemens joined HelpingaHero.org to break ground on a specially adapted home for Army Sergeant Daniel Cowart.

Cowart received the rare Silver Star and Purple Heart after having lost his leg to a suicide bomber in Iraq.

Cowart says he's happy to be the recipient of such a house but he knows plenty of other soldiers who gave just as much and are just as deserving.

Clemens added, "The bottom line is we are some of these veterans who don't have the means to maybe have a wheelchair-accessible house, a place to live and there's nothing like it."
