WEST HOUSTON — There’s a new area of concern for flooding on the west side of town the Addicks and Barker reservoirs.

Both of the reservoirs are either at or near record levels and still rising. A flood warning has been issued for the first time ever and residents are asked to be prepared to evacuate. This is also an area where a lot of the roads are still impassable.

Judge Ed Emmett says that Highway 6 will be under water for up to 6 weeks.
