PHILADELPHIA, PA -  Republicans John Kasich and Ted Cruz want to Trump “The Donald” and they`ve teamed up to try.

It`s doubtful this is the start of a new “bromance” or anything. After all, these guys have been attacking each other on the campaign trail for months.

John Kasich says, "A vote for Cruz or Trump, frankly, is a vote for Hillary Clinton."

Ted Cruz fires back, “John Kasich has no path whatsoever to the nomination."

Joining forces may be a last-ditch effort to keep Donald Trump from getting the required number of delegates to win the GOP nomination. But get this, the Cruz-Kasich plan is to agree to lose in three upcoming state primaries.

Both are still flying solo in Tuesday`s primaries covering five states including Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maryland, and Delaware.

But Kasich plans to “stand down” in Indiana next month to “give the Cruz campaign a clear path” in that state. Cruz says he`ll return the favor in Oregon in May, and New Mexico in June.

Donald Trump tweets: "Wow, just announced that Lyin' Ted and Kasich are going to collude in order to keep me from getting the Republican nomination. DESPERATION!"

Speaking to supporters in Rhode Island, Trump says, “It shows such total weakness and its pathetic."

Call it what you want but this unlikely duo isn't alone.

Even diehard conservative and billionaire businessman Charles Koch says he's not opposed to throwing his big bucks elsewhere.  Koch dropped a bombshell saying it`s possible another Clinton in the White House would be better than any republican still in the race.

Hillary`s tweet about that borderline endorsement makes it pretty clear, she ain't interested!

“Not interested in endorsements from people who deny climate science and try to make it harder for people to vote.”

In other words, thanks......but, no thanks!
