Splashtown

The summer is just around the corner and one of Houston’s favorite parks to splash around in is opening before the heat takes over. Wet ‘n’ wild Splashtown on I-45 North opens at 10 am tomorrow.

Parking is only $10 per vehicle.

Tickets range from $30.99 to $37.99 and $64.99 for season passes.

3rd Annual Red Cat Jazz Festival

Get your groove on.

Red Cat Jazz Preservation Society is hosting its 3rd Annual Jazz Festival. This year’s theme is ‘it`s island time! Discovering new territories.” The moody gardens hotel and spa will play host to the jazz festival!

Come and spend a great day out with the family or an intimate date night listening to amazing music by some of the best musicians in the world!

Tickets range from $20 to $1,500 for VIP tickets.

FLYING SAUCER SUGAR LAND MOTHERS DAY BRUNCH

Cheers to your mom at the Flying Saucer in Sugar Land.

It’s hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch from 11 am until 2 pm.

The day will feature Buffalo Bayou Brewing Company`s, Sam`s Daily, strawberry shortcake, cream ale on tap and $3 mimosas for you and mom to enjoy!

MOTHERS DAY INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT 1ST ANNUAL 2K WALK AND 5K RUN

Join the International District’s 1st Annual 2k walk and 5k run “for the future”. It raises money for low income kids in Alief ISD and supports its school violence prevention education. It’s on mother’s day at the Alief Amity Park starting at 4pm.

It costs between $20 to $25 to register and that includes a meal ticket.

There will also be live entertainment games and more!
