GERMANTOWN, MD - Warning! This is not an episode of "My Crazy Ex Girlfriend."

But it sure could be!

Yeah, women have a code when it comes to cheaters -  don't get mad, get even.

That seems to be what one Maryland woman decided when she allegedly torched her boyfriend's brand new $29,000 Chevy Malibu.

"I honestly did not think she was going to do something like this," the unidentified ex-boyfriend declared. "I don't care how mad you are, you don't just set someone's car on fire!"

Police arrested his  "Ex", Hopesy Henriquez, 18, at the scene, and now she faces up to 28 years in prison.

Geez, couldn't she have just gotten some advice from Carrie Underwood?

"I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights!" Underwood exclaimed in her old hit, "Before He Cheats."

Oh no, this chick just had to go full-blown "Pyro"!

Yeah, as bad as the torched car might seem, though, things could always have been worse.

Like what another scorned woman did to her unfaithful beau - by torching his penis!

Yikes! Talk about a never-ending "burn!"

Yeah, and who could forget the classic revenge Lorena Bobbitt put on her husband John back in the 90s....by slicing off his "Johnson" with a kitchen knife and throwing it out her car window into a field.

Uh, maybe a torched car ain't so bad, after all.

Guess what they say is true, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!"
