TxDOT’s “Click it or ticket” campaign begins

HOUSTON, TX -- Texas drivers, pay attention.

TxDOT is beginning their, "Click it or ticket" campaign today.

The Texas Department of Transportation has launched its statewide campaign.

From now until June 15 police will be stepping up enforcement efforts on the seat belt laws.

The law requires everyone in a vehicle to buckle up or face fines and court costs up to $200.

Children younger than eight years old must be in a child safety seat or booster seat unless they`re taller than 4 feet, 9 inches.

So guys, you have been warned, so "Click it of ticket!"
