Free Press Summer Fest
The hottest music festival is this weekend. The Free Press Summer Fest. The 8th annual festival will be back at NRG due to flooding.

They’ll be flooded with a stellar line-up. From Modest Mouse, Leon Bridges and the Chainsmokers just to name a few. The two day festival is this Saturday and Sunday.

Gates open at 11am. Tickets range from $93 – $1,000.

Houston Fajita Festival 

The smell of fajitas will fill the air in Humble. This Saturday is the Houston Fajita Festival. It’s from 11am to 1pm at the Civic Center. Restaurants and food trucks will battle it out for the best fajitas in H-town.

Chew on this, tickets are only $10.

Color Fun Fest 5K and Canival

There’s another “colorful” festival going on this Saturday.

It’s the “Color Fun Fest 5K and Carnival” at Sam Houston Race Park. Participants are asked to wear their whitest running clothes and get ready to be showered with over 10,000 pounds of color as they navigate the 1.8 mile course.

It starts at 4:30 pm. Tickets start at $39.99

Houston Ballet

Enjoy a “night at the ballet”.

Houston Ballet is currently performing its “spring mixed repertory program,” featuring new and old works. There are evening performances Friday and Saturday and a matinee Sunday.

Tickets range from $20-$197.
