CHANGI AIRPORT, SINGAPORE - There’s something you never want to hear while on an airplane. A loud alarm and a flight attendant telling you to prepare for a crash.

Luckily, that didn’t happen aboard a Singapore Airlines passenger plane, but it did burst into flames early this morning.  The flight was headed to Milan with more than 240 people on-board when, about two hours in, the pilot noticed a warning light.

They turned back toward Singapore to make an emergency landing.

Just as the plane touched down, the right engine burst into flames. There were flames leaping from the plane`s wing. The good news is, everyone got out safely and the fire was extinguished within minutes.

Talk about a close call and some hot wings!

It’s pretty safe to say, most people prefer their wings with barbecue sauce!
