HOUSTON, TX – With Dwight Howard leaving the Rockets to join the Atlanta Hawks, the Rockets appear to have made their first free agent acquisition. The team reportedly agreed to a 4-year deal with forward Ryan Anderson. The Vertical and ESPN both report the contract is worth $80 million.

Anderson is 28 years old and spent the last four seasons with the New Orleans Pelicans.  Last season, he averaged 17 points per game, while shooting 36-percent from beyond the arc.
