HOUSTON - Astros shortstop Carlos Correa looked like he could be an all pro in a new job as a sports store cashier!

"At first I was struggling, but then I got pretty good at it," Correa said.

Well, it was just Correa's position for Saturday morning, when he hosted 38 Boys and Girls Club of Greater Houston members for a shopping spree at Academy Sports + Outdoors.

"It's always important to give back," Correa said. "A lot of people helped me get to where I am today, so I feel like I can be that help for some of these kids to accomplish their dreams. If I can give them a little help, I'll always be there to help."

Academy gave away 1,938 tickets to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Houston for Sunday's Astros game.
